I'm a botanical illustrator based in Montréal, Canada. Like many children, I was passionate about drawing and crafts, but I left this passion behind as I grew up amid various distractions. In the past few years, I've felt a profound need for healing and a deeper inner connection, leading me to reconnect with my childhood passion once again.
Why botanical? Everything around me holds value and is cherished, yet nature remains an indispensable element of my spiritual life. This deep bond between humans and the natural world, including the flora enveloping us, reflects a shared cycle of life. Just as seeds sprout from the earth, our lives begin modestly, undergoing growth and transformation through life's stages. Our journey from building potential to inevitable decline mirrors the lifecycle of plants, intertwined with the rhythms of the earth and the passage of time.
